PROGRESS ON THE BED CANOPY
Hi you guys how are you all? I’m posting some photos of the progress of the industrial bed canopy that I told you all I intended to build. This weekend project has turned out to be more complicated that I anticipated. These materials I am working with, e.g. MDF, Particle Board, et. al. are strange and always a challenge particularly in something this complicated. One really has to stay on the ball and focus to machine these materials because they are very different from wood.I’ve drilled and hole sawed over two hundred washers and bosses alone. In the one photo of the rail I am just now beginning to glue on the cross member brackets that I made.I’ll keep you all posted and hopefully soon will be publishing photos of the finished product. After the canopy is completed then construction of the hoist trolley begins. From my perliminary drawings it appears that it will look significantly cool.
