Martyn Lawrence Bullard Wows with Mexican Retreat

The living area models the perfect monochromatic palette for any Caribbean getaway. Blue is such a calming and relaxing color that it makes your soul stop and absorb your surroundings. The use of multiple patterns keeps the room in movement providing an enhanced depth. If you think blue is a cliche color to use for a beach resortyou are right. The only difference is that this space opens up to an outdoor area that perfectly blends into the environment. Think of this living room as symbolizing rushing tides that have flowed up the shore, and into the home. Relaxing right?

Guests have the option of taking their tan on the beach or within the comforts of the home. This backyard space is made for entertaining and enjoying the pristine views.

The powder room is our favorite bathroom in the entire space. The wallpaper reminds us of Mexican glasses with a frosted blue rim. The overall sentiment is vintage with a touch of class.

Be sure to read the Architectural Digest article Martyn Lawrence Bullards Seaside Enhancement  for more photos and details about the Mexican retreat.
