Climbing extension ladders can be quite dangerous and intimidating to the average home owner. One of the big dangers with ladder safety is having a ladder slip/slide to one side or backwards as you climb or work from the ladder. Years ago I had a pretty scary fall from a ladder that slipped to the side as I reached too far to the opposite side while painting windows. I learned a valuable lesson that day and luckily didnt get hurt too bad. Needless to say Ive become a huge fan of any device that makes ladders safer to use.

Nature Inspired Crafts
When you’re looking for ideas for crafting, you need look no further than right outside your front door. Nature always provides a plethora of inspiration. Craftster.org recently hosted an “Inspired by Nature” craft challenge, and here are the top five winners of the contest. Maybe they’ll inspire you!
1. Natural Pendant This contestant used a wire wrap and pine straw, moss, hazelnut, birch bark, and lichen gathered from nearby woods, to create this beautiful pendant.
2. Falling Leaves Tray Once this tray was formed, actual leaves were pressed into the clay, leaving their beautiful shape and texture behind.
